Delight of Light

The glow-worms had hidden after the night And I was awake before the first flash of light; I was waiting for the new day’s new sight With objects, revealing around me, in delight! And, as the sun brighter began to enter Through windows with the rays slanting off-center, It was directed by glass or edited by a curtain Filtered through to claim a space for certain!
