Shaping, educating
With choices of your kind.

Home means celebrating
Childhood, adolescence, adulthood, old age
With nothing left behind.

Home means living,
Taking, giving, and dying
With complete peace of mind.

Still, if you call a house, a home
Make it interactive for an optimistic mind,
Make it for privacy for a pessimistic mind,
Think of stages of human life
And keep renovating a house for a home
Where minds belong and seek to roam!

Homelessness is a curse dragged out from a descent living;
Mind’s undesired space and a life non-fulfilling
Even with the glamourous architecture of a house!

Echoes of Silence

Dear everyone,
Each species is my bundle of joy, biodiversity my soul;
Your happiness has always been my only goal!
Air, water, and the rest in me make your body and blood
And the same elements also cause storm and flood;
Fire razes wild while my limbs and organs fail or fall,
Microbes to atoms threaten us and yet we are surviving all…

But, how long can we move on?
Till your senses slumber and refuse to rise
Or until, I have the strength to support and surprise?
Till I reach a point of no return to hit you hard
Or, you have played enough to lose the final card?
Maybe, till the awful echoes of your silence, too, are dead
Or maybe, until you vanish on a mass death bed!

I am blessed by your prayers and warmth of the Sun
And I wish you a safe life, the best mood, and all the fun!
But your ignorance and ego doesn't suit your mother
And the only living planet that is like none other!
Be worth my lap as my echoes of silence sing nothing of a dearth;
My best wishes! Your loving mom, the Planet Earth!

My Neighbour

We share a wall but there is more than that,
We have in common, a dog and a cat!
We are the most uncommon of all the neighbours
With all of life’s same tastes and flavours!

We have the walls to make us good neighbours
We have issues that each one of us maneuvers;
We pedal the way that benefits mutually,
Relations are neighbourly, lasting perpetually!

We keep the walls for that’s the clue
We keep our senses strong to be very true;
My neighbour next-door doesn’t ever meddle
Issues get sorted out; on ideas we do peddle!

Walls are there for a neighbour’s concern
But, that cat and that dog must not discern!
The sun should rise for all of us,
And for issues, big or small without a fuss!

Ringworm Rot

Within the ring forms the ugly and unwanted patch
It is itching terribly causing my reflex to scratch!
It stands dominant from thighs to toes
Spreading its cruelty to inflicting irritating woes!

It is the fungus that is progressively mushrooming,
I know nothing of conditions favouring its grooming!
Ointments and antibiotics are not yet successful in their jobs,
Oh, it is long time tolerating the unbearable itchy throbs!

Ringworm is in me and it has been more than a week
I know nothing why the human body it should seek!
An unassuming dot progressing to an undefeatable blot
Go away! I curse the fungus each time I look at the rot!

Your Planet And Her Dreams

I'm a world of mountains, plains, rivers, lakes;
I shape each life; I have the most stakes!
I breathe, bathe, consume just like you;
To serve each other better, mustn't we have the trust anew?
And, like anyone of you, I have a dream-
A dream for you and I to be on a team!

Search me deep for the pearl
As I am your world!
Be a star, as brightest in the sky
And for sure, all is yours even if you die;
North to South, East to West,
I'm obediently yours, all the best!

But, all the while, I live my dreams
To keep my mountains high with icy creams,
To keep islands afloat on the watery screen,
To cover myself with priceless green
Just to confirm that nature sings its song
And, besides all, a must for you along!

The Sun shines and I move on to evolve,
I rotate and revolve with the same resolve!
My track has been the same for millions of years thence
And my goal is the same for millions of years hence!
Hope the new year heals the world, promotes humanity
And reaffirms humans, as always, as the social animals for strength and unity!
